Äänen Lumo is a Helsinki-based association formed in 1995 to promote Sonic Arts in Finland. Over the years, Äänen Lumo has organised multiple events, including concerts, workshops and internet, film and gallery-based projects.

In 2024 Äänen Lumo was awarded an important grant from the Kone Foundation that gave us the possibility to rent a space that is open to the sonic arts community to be able to gather, show and perform in a low-threshold environment. We have called this event space Toinen Kerros.
Toinen Kerros (TK) is a volunteer-led, low threshold, DIY space for presenting, practicing, and encountering sonic art practices. Founded and currently facilitated by the association Äänen Lumo, it aims to function as a community-driven space. Its rent and basic running costs are partly covered by the Kone Foundation until spring 2027 at the latest. Toinen Kerros is located in Nokiantie 2-4, 2. kerros (2. floor), Helsinki, Finland.
Äänen Lumo on Helsingissä toimiva yhdistys, joka perustettiin vuonna 1995 edistämään äänitaidetta Suomessa. Vuosien varrella Äänen Lumo on järjestänyt useita tapahtumia, kuten konsertteja, työpajoja sekä internet-, elokuva- ja galleriapohjaisia projekteja.

Vuonna 2024 Äänen Lumo sai Koneen Säätiöltä merkittävän apurahan, joka mahdollisti äänitaideyhteisölle avoimen tilan vuokraamisen, jossa eri toimijat voivat kokoontua ja esiintyä matalalla kynnyksellä. Olemme nimenneet tämän tapahtumatilan Toiseksi Kerrokseksi, ja se sijaitsee Nokiantiellä (2-4), Helsingissä
